Greg Hugo Bio

Greg finds genuine fulfillment in helping his clients achieve their goals. 

In 1984, Greg was named Rookie of the Year at CB Commercial Real Estate's East Bay Office in San Francisco and semi-retired in 2021. Greg founded California Commercial Real Estate Transaction Advisors (CALCRETA) in October 2021 because he wanted to share his extensive experience with you as your private advisor and confidant for commercial real estate transactions.

He has represented hundreds of Lessees, Lessors, Buyers and Sellers in well over a thousand transactions and evaluations during his 35+ year career at three major brokerage firms. Greg has represented clients in a broad spectrum of transactions from a 1,000 square foot lease to a $56m sale.In addition to managing acquisitions, value enhancements, and dispositions of real estate assets, Greg became an expert in office, industrial, and retail investments. Greg leased more than a million square feet of office space in properties ranging from 10,000 to 250,000 square feet as a value enhancement advisor.

• 25-year CCIM Member, Past Certified Commercial Investment Member.
• 20-year Argus Financial Analysis user and trainer.
• Past member of the Mediation and Arbitration panels of the Oakland Association of Realtors.
• 20-year Treasurer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society charitable council, Danville CA.
